Role purpose  

  • Ownership of quality management process in the program.
  • Work closely with the Cluster teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of all project/program processes, plans and relevant standards across the entire program.
  • Provide strategic direction for quality, while this position is accountable for ensuring implementation of Program quality requirements. Reporting directly to the Program Director.

 

Major tasks    

    • Set program and project specific quality objectives in sync with existing policies (scope includes all the phases of a CAPEX project lifecycle, i.e. engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning)
    • Establish quality assessment and review process in alignment with specific units
    • Define and promote Engineering Quality Assurance
    • Implementation of Engineering Quality Management System
    • Coordinate quality management topics across clusters
    • Approve KPIs for QMS implementation and monitoring quality management plan
    • Communicate project QMS plan to all concerned stakeholders
    • Review and act on non-performance/non-compliance quality issues
    • Oversee quality trainings, campaigns & policy communications
    • Chart roadmap for quality process improvements

 

Key accountabilities 

 

  • Enforce quality policies and process
  • Coordinate quality operations including inspections/certifications of selective equipment, work done, construction & equipment erection completion

 

Qualification & skills   

  • University degree in engineering or equivalent professional education; several years of work experience in quality management; preferred experience in capex projects
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to deal with ambiguity
